1) In your Mac's menu bar, click the Time Machine icon and choose Enter Time Machine.

TIP: If Time Machine is not in your menu bar, click the magnifiying glass icon, type Time Machine, and press return.

2) Navigate to the file that you wish to restore. Once you've found it, click it and click Restore.

NOTE: You can use the arrow buttons or the calendar on the right side to navigate through dates. Then, navigate through the computer as you normally would.
