In your taskbar, right-click the application that you want to open and click its name. Alternatively, you can search for the application using the magnifying glass and click on the search result.

A1) In the taskbar, right-click the application in which you would like to open a new window.

A2) Click the name of the application.

B1) Click the magnifying glass icon on the lower-middle section of your desktop to pull up the "search" feature.

B2) Type the name of the application you want to open, and click on the correct search result.
