1) In your Start menu, search for and open the Windows Security app.

2) In the left-hand menu, click Virus & threat protection. If you want to run a quick scan, click the Quick scan button. Then, skip to the "OUTCOME" section below.

If you want to run a different type of scan, such as a full scan, click Scan options.

Choose the type of scan that you wish to run, and click Scan now.

OUTCOME

Your scan will begin.
