How to: Make Zoom the default chat provider for Microsoft Outlook


1) Open the Zoom application.

2) In the upper right-hand corner, click your profile image. Then, click Settings.

3) Under the "General" tab, check the box next to Integrate Zoom with Outlook.

NOTE: You may get prompted asking if you want the Zoom application to make changes. Choose Yes to continue making the necessary change for this process.

4) Close all Office applications completely in order for the changes to take affect.


Zoom is set as the default chat option in Outlook for Windows.
