From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings > Network Settings. Your hardware address will be located in the bottom-right of the screen.

To find the hardware address for your Xbox (first generation), please follow the steps below.

1) Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.

2) From the "Xbox Dashboard", choose Settings.

3) Choose Network Settings.

Your Xbox's hardware address is the 12 characters next to "MAC=" at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
