How to: Locate your Blu-ray player's hardware address

Instructions

The hardware address can be located by looking in the player's "Settings" or "Setup" section, depending on the model. It may be listed next to the words like:

  • hardware address,
  • MAC address,
  • Ethernet address, or
  • physical address.

Samsung Blu-ray player

1) Navigate to Settings.

2) Choose Network.

3) The hardware address will be listed under "Network Test".

LG Blu-ray player

1) Navigate to Setup - BD390 Models Press Home on the remote control - BD300 Model Press Setup.

2) Choose Network.

3) The hardware address will be listed under "Connection Status".

Panasonic Blu-ray player

1) Navigate to Setup.

2) Choose Network.

3) The hardware address should be listed here.

Sony Blu-ray player

1) Navigate to System Information.

2) The hardware address should be listed here.
