How to: Handle peer-to-peer (P2P) compliance issues

Disable or uninstall all peer-to-peer (P2P) software. After 15 minutes of no P2P activity coming from your device's IP address, the TTU network will allow you to resume network access.

NOTE: Some customers may receive a P2P error message because their computer or mobile device obtained an IP address that has been previously blocked from the network due to a P2P violation on someone else's device. This happens more frequently on the wireless network and VPN than it does the wired network.
