Long press the item(s) that you wish to download. Then, tap the ellipsis and choose Download.

These instructions are for downloading only images or video files and saving them to the Photos app on your device. If you want to download other types of files, please view our separate instructions for that.

1) Long press the item(s) that you want to download. Then, tap the ellipsis in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

TIP: After entering selection mode, you can tap to select more items before tapping the ellipsis.

2) Tap Download.

If you do not see the "Download" option, it's because you selected files that the OneDrive app does not recognize as pictures or videos. Return to the selection screen and de-select any files that are not images or videos.

3) Your operating system may prompt you about allowing the OneDrive app to access your photos. This will allow the OneDrive app to access items stored in your Photos library. This is necessary to allow OneDrive to save the images or videos to the Photos app. Choose your preferred option.

OUTCOME

A message will briefly appear indicating that the items were successfully saved.

The items are viewable in the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
