How to: Disable Java in web browsers on Windows


Instructions

1) Open the Control Panel.

2) Click Programs.

3) Click Java (32-bit).

NOTE: Your Java version may be 64-bit, but you still click "Java (32-bit)".

4) Under the Security tab, uncheck the box next to "Enable Java content for browsers and Web Start applications" and click OK.

OUTCOME

You have disabled Java across all web browsers on Windows.
