1) Right-click your Start button and choose Settings.

Alternatively, you may hold down the Windows key  on your keyboard and press X. Then, click Settings.

2) In the left-hand menu, click Accessibility. Then, click Keyboard.

3) Ensure that the switch next to "Filter keys" is in the "Off" position (slid to the left).

TIP: Ensure that "Sticky keys" and " Toggle keys" are also disabled if you do not use these functions, as they could cause problems down the road.

Filter keys are disabled in your operating system.
