1) Right-click your Start button and choose Settings.

Alternatively, you may hold down the Windows key  on your keyboard and press X. Then, click Settings.

2) Click Ease of Access.

3) Ensure that the switch next to "Use Filter Keys" is in the "Off" position (slid to the left).

TIP: Ensure that "Use Sticky Keys" and " Use Toggle Keys" are also disabled if you do not use these functions, as they could cause problems down the road.

Filter keys are disabled in your operating system.
