1) Go to the announcement in your browser.

TIP: If the announcement hasn't been released yet, you can sign in to the TechAnnounce website, click View/Edit Previous Posting, and click the magnifying glass icon with the plus in the middle () to preview the announcement.

2) In your browser's address bar, locate the portion of the address after MsgId=. The numbers after MsgId= are the ID number of the message.

EXAMPLE: If the URL in your browser's address bar is https://techannounce.ttu.edu/Client/ViewMessage.aspx?MsgId=12345, the message ID is 12345.

OUTCOME

You have located the ID number of your TechAnnounce message.
