1) Open Microsoft Teams.

NOTE: This solution will be using the desktop application, however the process is the same for the web application.

2) Click Teams, then click Join or create a team.

3) Click Create team.

4) Fill in your team information and choose your privacy settings.

NOTE: It's recommended that you make your team private so only people you invite can join.

5) If you wish to create a team from an existing Microsoft 365 group, click Create a team from an existing Office 365 group. If not, click Next.

6) Invite people to your team by typing their name and clicking Add. If you don't wish to add anyone to the team at this time click Skip.

OUTCOME

Your team has been created.
