How to: Connect to TTUCRnet Wi-Fi or TTUCRfaculty Wi-Fi using your iPhone or iPad


Introduction

In the Settings app, tap Wi-Fi. Tap the network that you want to join. Type your TechMail address and eRaider password. Then tap Join.

Instructions

1) Open the Settings app.

2) Tap Wi-Fi.

3) Ensure that Wi-Fi is set to the "on" position, and then choose one of the networks.

  • TTUCRfaculty: Costa Rica network for faculty and staff
  • TTUCRnet: Costa Rica network for students

4) Type the following information, and then tap Join.

  • Username: your TechMail address (for example, jane.doe@ttu.edu)
  • Password: your TTU Costa Rica wireless password (this is different from your eRaider password)

NOTE: If this is your first time connecting, you will use the password provided to you by Costa Rica staff. You will change the password after your first successful connection.

5) Tap Trust.

Outcome

Your iPhone or iPad will be connected to the TTU Costa Rica wireless network. Once you are connected, you will see the Wi-Fi icon appear in the status bar at the top, and a check mark will appear next to your chosen network in your Wi-Fi screen.
