How to: Connect to eduroam Wi-Fi using Windows

NOTE: The settings applied are specific to the Texas Tech University campus. If you are trying to connect to eduroam at another institution, you may have to contact the IT department of that institution for connection setting specifics.

  1. In the system tray in Windows (bottom right-hand corner of your screen), click the network icon.

  2. Click the arrow icon attached to the right of the Wi-Fi symbol. Do not click the Wi-Fi symbol.

  3. Click EduRoam. Then, choose Connect.

  4. Type your home campus email address and password. Then, click OK.

Outcome

Your computer is connected to the eduroam wireless network.
