How to: Clear cache, cookies, and history for Safari on your iPhone


Instructions

NOTE: If you are signed in to iCloud, this clears history on all other devices signed in to your iCloud account.

  1. Open the Settings app.

    The settings app on the iPhone homescreen is highlighted to be selected

  2. Tap Apps.

    In the settings app, "Apps" is highlighted to be selected

  3. Tap Safari.

    Under Apps, Safari is highlighted to be selected

  4. Tap Clear History and Website Data.

    Under Safari, there is an option to clear history and website data that is highlighted to be selected

  5. Choose the time frame for which you want to erase the history. Then, tap Clear History.

    After clicking clear history, there are options to clear time frame with multiple chouces such as last hour, today, today and yesterday and all history

Outcome

You have successfully cleared the cache and cookies for Safari on your iPhone.
