How to: Choose a default font for all outgoing messages in Outlook on your Mac


Introduction

From the "Outlook" menu, click Preferences, click Fonts.

Instructions

1) Open Microsoft Outlook if it is not already open.

2) In your Mac's menu bar, click Outlook and choose Preferences.

3) Under "Personal Settings", click Fonts.

4) Next to "New mail", click Font.

5) Choose the default font, size, and color for all outgoing email messages. Then, click OK.

6) Next to "Reply or forward", click Font.

7) Choose the default font, size, and color for all outgoing email messages when you click "Reply" or "Forward". Then, click OK.

8) Next to "Plain Text", click Font.

9) Choose the default font, size, and color for all outgoing email messages that are in plain text. Then, click OK.

10) Close the "Fonts" window.


OUTCOME

The default font for all outgoing messages will be set to your preferences.
