Introduction
No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.
If you do not know your current password, use the Forgot Password process instead. If you believe your account has been disabled, please see eRaider account disabled due to being compromised or high risk of compromise.
TIP: To avoid locking out your eRaider account, review our guide on causes and resolutions for eRaider account lockouts.
Instructions
Jump to: Method B: Update your password through eRaider Account Manager
Method A: Update your password via "Change Password"
A1) Browse to https://eraider.ttu.edu.
A2) Click Change Password.
A3) In the first field, type either your official email address (for example, jane.doe@ttu.edu) or ttu\your_eraider_username (for example, ttu\jdoe). In the second field, type your current eRaider password. Then, click Sign in.
A4) Choose which way you would like to receive your authentication code. Then, click Continue.
A5) Once you receive the verification code at your phone number, type it into the verification field. Then, click Verify.
A6) Type your new password. Then, click Change Password.
NOTE: The password must meet the requirements in the eRaider password policies.
Outcome
A screen will appear confirming that the password has been changed. It may take up to 15 minutes before your new password works on all services. If your password had expired, it may take up to two hours to reestablish full access to Microsoft services.
NOTE: If you are signed into a domain-authenticated device, you should restart or sign out and sign back in while connected to the TTU network. This will prevent bad password attempts and lockouts. This will also allow you to ensure that all eRaider-authenticated services are now using your new credentials.
