Your display name in Unified Communications is based on your TechMail address.

EXAMPLE: If your TechMail address is John.Doe@ttu.edu, your display name in both TechMail and Unified Communications will be Doe, John. If your TechMail address is J.Doe@ttu.edu, your display name will be Doe, J. If your TechMail address is John.A.Doe@ttu.edu, your display name will be Doe, John A.

To change the way your name is displayed, you will need to change your TechMail address.

OUTCOME

After changing your TechMail address, your display name in Unified Communications will change automatically. It may take a few moments to see the changes, and you may have to sign out of Skype for Business and sign in again using the new email address.
