NOTE: The PIN referenced below is not the same as the conferencing PIN that can be changed for each user account.

To change the device settings PIN on a Polycom CX500, CX600, or CX3000 device, please follow the steps below. It is recommended to not change the PIN on such devices without assistance from your departmental computer support contact due to the possibility of the new PIN being forgotten.

1) Go to the MENU* within the phone.

2) Go to SETTINGS.

3) Within SETTINGS, enter the existing PIN.

4) Scroll down to "Phone Unlock PIN".

5) Enter the new 6-digit PIN of choice.

OUTCOME

The PIN has been changed on the device.
