How to: Change on-hold music in Skype for Business on Windows

Instructions

1) In the top right-hand corner, click the settings icon.

2) Click Ringtones and Sounds.

3) Click Browse.

NOTE: DefaultHold.wma is the default on-hold music.

4) Choose the WMA file that you want as your on-hold music for this account, and then click Open.

5) Click OK.

OUTCOME

Skype for Business will be configured to play the selected music file. The caller will hear the new music when the call is transferred or placed on hold. This will only apply on this computer and not on other devices.
