1) You must be permitted through the firewall on the Oracle DB.

NOTE: Check with the DBA team at TOSM to ensure that this has been done. IT Help Central can assign an issue to them.

2) Make sure that Oracle Data Access Components or Oracle 10G Client is installed with the tnsnames.ora provided by Application Development & Support.

3) Set up the ODBC System DSN to access the cluster. You must be provided with a username and password in order to access the specific table that you need. In some cases, you will use your eRaider credentials to access this.

OUTCOME

Access to the 10G Oracle cluster is granted.
