Prompted to sign in with Adobe ID when opening Creative Cloud software

Symptoms

You are prompted to sign in using an Adobe ID when you open one of the Creative Cloud software applications.

Adobe window Sign in Your Adobe ID provides an easy way to access your membership, the Adobe creative cloud and the Adobe.com community. We will sign you in as Adobe ID: someuer@domain.com (Not your Adobe ID) Sign in button in bottom right hand corner

Cause

Creative Cloud applications are tied to Adobe's cloud services which use an Adobe ID and password for access.

Resolution

Individual use

Click the Sign In button to sign into Creative Cloud using your Adobe ID.

Click Sign In button in bottom-right corner

Lab or shared computer

Outcome

You are able to use your Creative Cloud software.
